What is the minimum order for printed cartons?
There is no minimum and no maximum. Short bespoke runs and long production runs both go through the same press and the same quality checks.
How many colours can you print?
We run a seven colour B1 press with a coater, so up to seven colours plus a coating go on in a single press pass at up to 16,000 sheets an hour. That holds colour consistency across the whole run and avoids a second pass on press.
Do you design the carton as well as print it?
Yes. We offer in-house design support from CAD and reprographics through to printing, finishing and delivery on our own transport, and advise on pack and carton design before your product launch, producing plain carton samples for testing before any colour goes on.
Can I get samples before committing to a run?
Yes. We produce plain samples for testing, and fully finished samples in up to seven colours, to the same specification as the live run.
What finishing can you apply?
Embossing, full die cutting, window patching and gluing of finished product packs, all handled in-house in Peterborough.
Are you certified for food packaging?
Yes. We hold BRC Issue 7 at an AA rating, the highest grade the packaging standard awards, and we are Sedex members. Certificates are issued for your supplier approval file on request.
Can my packaging carry the FSC label?
Yes. We print on FSC certified board, so the FSC label can be displayed directly on your packaging to show customers you are using responsibly sourced material. Tell us at the quote stage and we will specify certified board from the start.
