On a beauty shelf, the box sells first
A cosmetic pack is often the first thing a customer touches. The finish has to feel as considered as the product inside, and it has to look the same on the thousandth box as on the first.
Many cosmetic packaging manufacturers send finishing out. Here, embossing, foil blocking, soft touch and window patching are all done in house, on the same site that prints the board, so the finish you choose is not the first thing to be value engineered out of the job. Rigid-look folding cartons give the presence of a rigid box on a pack that still ships and stores flat.

Cosmetic packaging, no minimum order
New beauty brands usually need a small first run: enough to launch, test a market or fill a subscription box, without a warehouse of unsold cartons. There is no minimum order, and a run of under a thousand boxes goes through the same press and the same checks as a run of over a million.
When a line takes off, the same artwork and the same cutting forme scale straight up, so the second order looks exactly like the first.
See it before you order it
Design and structure. We advise on the pack and carton design and make plain samples, so you can check the fit and how the box opens before a single colour goes on it.
Printed samples. With print and repro on site, we can make small runs of fully finished samples in up to seven colours, with the finishes applied.
Production and delivery. The run is held to the specification signed off at sample stage, then delivered on our own lorries. More on custom printed boxes.

Is there a minimum order for cosmetic boxes?
No. There is no minimum and no maximum run length, so a first launch run and a full range reorder are both welcome.
What finishes can you add to beauty packaging?
Embossing, foil blocking, soft touch and window patching, all applied in house, plus full die cutting and gluing.
Can we see a sample before ordering?
Yes. We make plain samples to test the structure, and can make small runs of fully finished printed samples before the production run.
How long do cosmetic boxes take?
Typically two weeks from approved artwork to delivery, on our own transport across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Are your cosmetic boxes UK made?
Yes. They are printed, finished, cut and glued in our own factory in Peterborough, then delivered on our own transport across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
